KEMPEN JAUHI HIV / STAY AWAY FROM HIV CAMPAIGN

Penanda buku ini terhasil hasil kerjasama WONDERPETS yang terdiri daripada mama, puteri pertama dan puteri tengah kesayangan mama. Pada hari itu puteri ketiga terpaksa dihantar ke rumah Wan Leha bagi tujuan penyiapan dan latikan persembahan tersebut. Oleh kerana itu mama terpaksa mengambilalih kedudukan puteri ketiga.

Bersempena dengan persembahan kelas yang dilakukan pada 30 Mac 2009, saya ingin berkongsi mengenai sedikit maklumat mengenai AIDS di Malaysia. Ia dipetik daripada maklumat yang disediakan oleh UNICEF Malaysia 2006. Ia boleh dicapai di sini

Sebagai seorang wanita yang bergelar ibu, hati saya sebak setiap kali saya melakukan latihan untuk tujuan penyampaian tersebut. AIDS di Malaysia telah merebak dengan drastik sekali dan ramai insan yang tidak berdosa telah tercalit sama.

According to June 2007 statistics from the Ministry of Health (MOH):
· 78, 784 people have tested HIV-positive in Malaysia since 1986
· 10, 909 people have died of AIDS

The MOH statistics reveal
· 2,395 new HIV cases were reported in the first six months of 2007
· an average of 16 people tested HIV-positive each day in 2006

Q.: Are women part of these statistics?
A. :The proportion of women reported with HIV has increased dramatically in the last decade :
· In 1990, women made up 1% of new reported infections that year, while in1996, only 4% of
new reported infections were amongst women and girls. The number tripled by end 2006
where women accounted for 15% of new reported infections.

· According to MOH, 1 in 7 new reported cases in 2006 was a woman as compared to 1 in 86
cases in 1990.
· More housewives are testing HIV-positive than sex workers in Malaysia. The rate is between
four to five times more than sex workers.

1 in 7 new infections in 2006 is a female!

Avoid eating chicken wings frequently - ladies especially;

a true story...!

A friend of mine recently had a growth in her womb and she underwent an operation to remove the. The cyst removed was filled with a dark colored blood. She thought that she would be recovered after the surgery but! she was terribly wrong.

A relapse occurred just a few months later. Distressed , she rushed down to her gynecologist for a consultation. During her consultation, her doctor asked her a question that puzzled her. He ask if she was a frequent consumer of chicken wings and she replied yes wondering as to how, he knew of her eating habits.

You see, the truth is in this modern day and age; chickens are injected with steroids to accelerate their growth so that the needs of this society can be met. This need is none other than the need for food. Chickens that are injected with steroids are usually given the shot at the neck or the wings. Therefore, it is in these places that the highest concentration of steroids exists.

These steroids have terrifying effects on the body as it accelerates growth.. It has an even more dangerous effect in the presence of female hormones, this leads to women being more prone to the growth of a cyst in the womb.

Therefore, I advise the people out there to watch their diets and to lower their frequency of consuming chicken wings! People, who receive this email, please forward it to your friends and loved ones. I am sure no one wants to see him or her suffer!
